During the last few weeks in STEM class we have been studying our bodies using measurements. Each child from 1st to 3rd of primary has measured parts of their body and weighed themselves.
Keeping records of their measurements over the course of the year they will see how much they have grown and produce a graph showing what parts of their body have changed. This project has helped each child understand more about their body and also enhance their knowledge on different types of measurements and how to use them, for example: when to use centimeters or meters, when to use grams or kilograms etc. The results have been great and we will keep you informed of our progress…..
